THE FULL STORY
When Kanye West announced his eighth studio album "Ye," we were beyond stoked. Not for any reason other than being huge fans -- we both grew up in Chicago, where Kanye's music was the soundtrack to pretty much every pivotal moment of our teenage years. When we got a call from Def Jam Recordings about shooting the official visuals for the album, we felt the distinct sensation of a bucket list box getting checked off. Ye wanted them filmed in Wyoming, where he would premiere the music on a secluded ranch. Hours later we were on a plane to Jackson Hole to film the sweeping landscape that inspired the music.
